If Cancer was the disease of the 20th Century, then sadly Diabetes Mellitus will probably be the disease of the 21st Century? So never has it been more important to “Stop, Think , Re-focus” about how to better manage patients with Diabetes in your area.
Dr Hermione Price a Consultant Community Diabetologist from West Hampshire Community Diabetes Service updated us on the latest Diabetes therapeutic evidence and provided tips on how best to manage patients during the Covid pandemic.
We also heard from Emma McClay, Pharmacy Integration Project Lead at SPS about the importance of Pharmacy integration & working across the local health economy.
