Diabetes update

Phillip Newland-Jones, Consultant Pharmacist and Clinical Director Diabetes & Endocrinology, Southampton General Hospital joined us to talk all things “Diabetes” in primary care.
In preparation for the expected new Type 2 Diabetes NICE guidance in 2022 he updated us on pharmacological treatments and suggest how to best optimise both care & medicines resources for diabetics within a PCN/LHB.
